Tonye Oniyide, Damiete Miller, Chris Finebone, 15 others sworn in as Commissioners

Delectable socialite Tonye Briggs Oniyide and Damiete Herbert Miller, have taken oath of office to serve as members of the State Executive Council.

The oath of office was administered at the Executive Council chamber of Government House, Port Harcourt today, by the Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike

Asides the duo, former spokesperson of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senibo Chris Finebone, who recently defected to the Peoples Democratic party, PDP, was amongst the sixteen others who were also sworn in by the Executive Governor.

The new commissioners comprised of those who had served in the same capacity since the commencement of the Nyesom Wike led administration. While Africa Update was unable to ascertain the various portfolios of the new commissioners, their names are as follows: Prof. Princewill Chike, Hon. Jacobson Nbina, Mr. Ndubuisi Okere, Barr. Mrs Inime Aguma.

Others are: Engr. Charles Amadi, Mr. Ben Daminabo, Engr. Austin Ben Chioma, Mr Uchechukwu Nwafor, Dr. Fred Barivule Kpakol, Barr. Emenike Oke, Mr. Prince Ohia, Prof. Kaniye Ebeku, Mr. Ezekiel Agri, Mrs. Ukiel Oyaghiri and Hon Emeka Onowu. Similarly, Barrister Clifford Oparaodu was sworn-in as a member of the State Judicial Service Commission.
