Tonye Cole has come to salvage Rivers State ~ Kalabari Monarch (Pictures)

Amanayabo of Kalabari Kingdom, King Prof. T. J. T PrinceWill (Amachree X1), says Tonye Cole, has come to salvage Rivers State, because “the entire place is vibrating just at the mention of his name”.

With a thought provoking speech, at his palace in Buguma city, yesterday, King Princewill, reminded Cole of the feats of his (Cole’s) forefather King Amachree 1, and charged him to continue in that stride, while assuring him of his support and blessing.

King Princewill,  further expressed his desire for the emergence of a kalabari Governor, stating that with Cole’s emergence, other sons from kalabari kingdom should kill their aspirations to contest for the governorship of the state, because Cole has all the qualities to sail to victory if kalabaris unanimously give him their support.

He said Kalabaris have suffered defeat in the past due to division and multiple candidates and appealed to all and sundry to come together in unity to ensure Cole’s victory.

On his part, Cole, who is a Governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, attributed his numerous achievements in life to the deep and strong heritage of the kalabaris.

He noted that there is always a negative cloud hanging over an individual’s personality, if his home state is not doing well.

Cole said, it is important for kalabaris to unite, just as their forefathers did, considering the huge task ahead requires similar collaboration to achieve victory, and asked for the King’s blessings.

Asari Toru Council of Chiefs, were also present at the Palace.

Cole, had earlier met with Compound/ family Cheifs of Iju-Jack family at the Iju-Jack Memorial Hall in Abonnema, from where he proceeded to the palace of the Amanayabo of Abonnema, and was received by HRM, Sir King Barr Disrael Gbobo Bobmanuel (11) and Akuku Toru Council of Chiefs

He was accompanied by Hon Ojukaye Flag Amachree, Chairman, APC Rivers State, Engr. Beks Dagogo Jack, Chairman contact and mobilization committee, Rivers APC,  Dr. Dawari George, Former National Assembly Member, Tonye Princewill, Crown Prince of Kalabari Kingdom, Mrs Joeba West, Former Commissioner for Women Affairs, Hon. Onari Brown, Hon. Alapuye Cotterel, Chief Theodore Georgewill and others.
