Residents of Ozuboko community fled for their lives yesterday, when gunmen stormed the community in search of their targets, who are suspected members of Iceland cult group. According to eye witness account, the incident occurred between 7:30 pm and 8pm on Saturday night.
The gunmen, reportedly shot one of their target, near the community school, where he was buying fried yam, killing the female yam seller in the process, while one other was chased into the church he ran into for refuge, killing him on the spot. The operation, which lasted for less than 30 minutes, left in its trails, four corpses.
Residents who reside around ozuboko, who spoke with Africa Update, said they could hear the echoes of the gunshots about the time of the operation.
