Distinguished Rivers state legal luminary and renowned business mogul Chief Dumo Lulu- Briggs, has wished Rivers people a Happy new year, 2018, with an inspiring message that speaks of hope, gratitude to God and a fresh start of new resolutions, positive expectations and a bright future embraced with collective strength, courage and the determination to rise above the challenges that will emerge in the New year.
The new message reads thus:
“My dear great people of Rivers State, as we gather with family and friends to celebrate our triumphant entry into the new year, let me joyfully wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year.
The beginning of a new year is always a hopeful time; a time for new resolutions and a time for fresh expectations. Looking back, we may find reasons to be sad, we must also look at this moment with gratitude to God for life, and into the future with the knowledge that brighter days are ahead. As a people, our challenges are enormous but I have faith in our collective strength, courage and determination to rise above them. This spirit and God’s favor have kept the Rivers vision alive. My hope and prayer is that we restore the Rivers State dream of opportunity for all and the Rivers State value of responsibility from all.
