Popular comedian and member of the Funkyt 4, Tekena Iyalla, with the founder of the Port Harcourt Comedy club, Angel Attah, AKA Angel d laugh, have commenced sensitization campaign in parts of Rivers State, to educate the public on the potent nature of the dreaded COVID-19.
The duo, who were spotted in the company of some school teachers, went to markets and waterfronts, yesterday to spread the news about COVID-19.
The initiator of the campaign, Tekena Iyalla, said some people were still unaware about the coronavirus, commending the State Governor, Nyesom Wike for the proactive steps taken so far, he urged him to get more people involved in the sensitization campaign.
He advised him to distribute public address systems to peole, who should be mandated to go to remote communities in the state.
On his part, Attah called on all and sundry to get involved in the campaign to ensure that coronavirus does not cause havoc in the state.
