Car dealers at New Way Park Berger,  Lagos State  heaved sighs of relief as two men who specialize in defrauding car dealers in the state, by issuing fake bank cheques and fake bank alerts, met their waterloo on June 23, when one of their victims, identified as Ifeanyi, raised the alarm as he uncovered a fake alert for a vehicle he sold to the suspects.
His assistant who had gone to confirm the payment at the bank,  had alerted Ifeanyi about the fraudulent act.
Police intervention rescued the  suspects who have been at the act for sometime, from being lynched by angry car dealers, who had been victims of the fake bank cheques and alerts in exchange for vehicles.
