Somalia’s al Shabaab Islamist group launched a suicide bomb attack on Nasahablood hotel in the centre of Mogadishu on Saturday, June 25, killing atleast seven people with scores injured.
According to reports the group had attacked the hotel which was visited frequently by the apostate government members.
Police source said, those who died included civilians and hotel guard.
The initial blast was caused by a suicide bomber before fighters stormed into the hotel and a heavy exchange of gunfire ensued.
