Association of Immediate past Council Chairmen in Rivers State have raised alarm over the poor health of their member and former Asari Toru local Government Chairman, Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree who is currently remanded in prison custody over 2 count charge of conspiracy and murder of Mr. Smart Soberekon in Buguma City.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the spokesman and former Chairman of Bonny Local Government Council, Hon. Edward Pepple said they are worried that Hon. Amachree could have serious complications if he is not given urgent medical attention. Condemning the incarceration of their member without adequate proof of his guilt, the group demanded the immediate release of Hon. Amachree to enable him access medical care.
