The National Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, South South Zone,  Ntufam Hilliard Eta, has expressed sadness at the sudden demise of Senator Rose Oko, who represented the Northern Senatorial District of Cross River State.
A statement signed by Eta, on March 31, 2020 and made available to Africa Update reads; “We have received with heavy hearts, the sad news of the passage of Senator Rose Oko, a serving Senator representing the good people of Northern Senatorial District of Cross River State.Â
“We mourn this experienced law maker. Her vibrant contributions on National issues at the National Assembly will greatly be missed.
“On behalf of the entire zonal leadership, stakeholders and elders of the All Progressives Congress in South South, we commiserate with the immediate family of the deceased in particular, the good people of Cross River state, the people of South South zone and all Nigerians in general. It is our prayers that the good Lord will grant her soul eternal rest.”
