Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, has inaugurated High Chief Soboma Jackrich as the Chairman of its COVID-19 palliative committee.
While inaugurating the committee in Rivers State, the Acting Managing Director, of the Interim Management Committee of NDDC, Kemebradikumo Daniel Pondei, said, “we felt that there was a need to come up with a very good strategy on how to distribute this palliative.
” We want a situation whereby these things will reach as many people as possible, especially those who do not have, irrespective of gender, religious affiliation, political affiliation and age.
“We have chosen somebody who has long reach, fair minded and somebody who can carry everybody along, to be the chairman of this committee.
” Let’s just inaugurate this committee that has Mr. Soboma Jackrich, as the Chairman and this committee will go to work immediately.”
On his part, Jackrich, commended the leadership for entrusting him with such responsibility and assured them of the effective discharge of the mandate.
State Directors and Representatives from the Niger Delta States were inaugurated as members of the Committee.
