Two young lovers, 12 year-old girl identified as Patricia Guwe, and the 16-year-old boy identified as Anderson Yohane, were on Monday, 15th of January 2018, killed by lightning at Mzondo Kachimbwinda, Lilongwe area of Malawi at about 6pm.
It was gathered that the deceased who were sandard 6 students at Dzenza Primary School. in a relationship and were chatting in a maize field when rain with thunderstorm, started.
Their parents reported the matter to the police and officers visited the scene and moved their corpses to the Kamuzu Central Hospital where medics confirmed that death was caused by lightning.
