Senator’s daughter dies a year after father’s death

The beautiful daughter of late Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu, from Imo State, Jasmine Chidimma Uwajumogu, is dead. A post shared on Twitter, by her sister Ugonna Victoria Uwajumogu, indicates that Jasmine died on February 1, 2021, aged 24

Sharing pictures of her sister’s funeral service on Twitter, Ugonna wrote; “Baby girl, there are no words. Only tears and rage. I ‘ve laid you to rest now. I love you forever.” Jasmine, was laid to rest on Friday, February 12, at Victoria Garden Cemetary, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Lagos.

Sadly, Senator Uwajumogu, who represented Imo Senatorial District, slumped and died in his house while taking a bath on December 2019.
