Salvation Ministries set to hold 5 nights of glory, commences 21 days fasting program

Activities for the annual program tagged 5 nights of glory, organised by the Salvation Ministries, have commenced.

Speaking during the 5 services of the Church, on Sunday January 5, 2020, the founder and Senior Pastor, David Ibiyeomie, disclosed that the 5 nights of glory, is scheduled to hold from Monday, January 20, to Friday, January 24, 2020 at 4:30 pm daily.

He said the program will be preceded by a 21 days prayer and fasting which will commence from Monday, January 6 and end Sunday, January 26.

Admonishing Christains to participate in the prayer and fasting program, he reiterated that the potency in prayer and fasting can not be measured, when combined with faith.

He noted that for a Christian to experience extraordinary miracles, prayer and fasting should be given priority.

“There are certain challenges in life that require prayer and fasting”, he said.

Listing some profitable approach to fasting, he stated that “a Christian must define the purpose, come confessing their sins”, to avoid embarking on what could be referred to as hunger strike rather than fasting.

He stressed that the reason for a warfare approach to fasting and prayer is the consciousness that “Satan is always on the trail of great destinies’.

Ibiyeomie reiterated that the benefits of fasting and prayer can not be over emphasized because it “facilitates answers to prayers, secures God’s favour, gives divine guidance, guarantees explosive grace and empowerment, delivers from all evils and fulfils prophesies”.

According to him, ” your spiritual preparation keeps the devil far from your life. Every champion is a product of conflict. You do not wish for greatness but make it happen”.
