As part of efforts to generate revenue in the State, two Executive bills have scaled through first reading at the floor of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
Speaking on the importance of the bills, Hon. Martins Amewhule representing Obio/ Akpo Constituency 1 and Leader of the House,reiterated that the Rivers State Taxes and Miscellaneous Bill 2016 and Hotel Occupancy and Restaurant Consumption Bill, when passed into law and operational, will immensely improve the fortunes of the State.
