Rivers State Police Commissioner, Ahmed Zaki, has reiterated the need for a peaceful and violence free council polls.
He gave the charge when the chairman of Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission, RSIEC, Hon. Justice Uriri, led other members of the commission on a courtesy visit to the State Police Command in Port Harcourt.
He said the desire for a free, fair election and credible election can only be achieved if all stakeholders play by the rules.
He tasked them to provide a level playing ground for all political parties and candidates to participate actively in the upcoming election.
