Rivers State: night clubs to vacate GRA

The Rivers State Government has resolved to shutdown all night clubs in the Government Residential Area (GRA) in a bid to enforce the original urban policy of the state.
Speaking to newsmen in Port Harcoirt, the state capital, the Hon. Commissioner for Urban Development and Fiscal Planning, Hon. Chinyere Igwe said night clubs are not supposed to operate in GRA, and hinted that the ministry is currently working on the framework, adding that a committee would be inaugurated to ensure compliance.
