The owner of the demolished Prudent hotel, Promise Gogorodari, says he did not violate any law to warrant the demolition of his hotel by the Rivers State Government.
In a telephone interview, the Lagos based hotelier, said that he built the hotel seven years ago, to take people off the streets.
Noting that the state government ought to have carried out proper investigation before demolishing his hotel.
He explained that apart from providing employment to other persons, he had been able to help his family and other relatives through the hotel.
Stressing that the demolition of the hotels would be a setback to the state in terms of investment, adding that the development was not good for investors in the state.
