Rivers Deputy Governor commends Engi Professors and Academic Doctors Forum

Rivers State Deputy Governor, Professor Ngozi Nma Odu has commended the Engi Professors and Academic Doctors Forum (EPADOF) for taking the initiative to fast track Engi development.

Prof. Odu stated this during Egni Development Summit 2023, organized by Egni Professors and Academic Doctors Forum (EPADOF) in partnership with Egni Institutions at Civic Centre Obite in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area, on Tuesday 26th December, 2023.

Prof. Odu urged them to continue to foster peace, joy and togetherness amongst all people and think of what they can collectively do for Egni land.

“There should be no room for rancour; there should not be a space for us to keep arguing, when somebody brings an idea and another person brings a better idea, let us all embrace the better idea”. Prof Odu stressed.

The Deputy Governor who said she was impressed with the massive turnout of people from all strata of the society that came to rub minds to develop Engi extolled the power of inclusiveness.

She enjoined them to continue to dream and keep painting the picture of Engi development until it becomes a reality.

In his address the Chairman of Egni Professors and Academic Doctors Forum, Prof. Daniel Ndubuisi Ogum said they were gathered at Obite to challenge themselves to produce a blueprint that would guide their development in the coming decades, stressing that they were gathered to resolve, to guard and enrich their heritage.

He said The Engi Development Summit 2023 was the outcome of uncommon patriotism, commitment and consultations.
