The informal sector in Rivers State might have a tough year ahead, as sources close to government told Africa Update about a new tax policy for 2018.
It was revealed that citizens would commence payment of Property tax, Luxury tax and pleasure tax.
They said that taxes would be charged when beer is consumed and if people visit hotels. Such pleasure activities will henceforth attract some form of tax payment .
