Indications have emerged that Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara, will soon expand the current size of the State Executive Council, Africa Update has gathered.
This became evident following a statement made public by the Rivers State House of Assembly.

A statement signed by the Acting Clerk of the House, Emeka Amadi reads: The State House of Assembly hereby invites the following for screening as Commissioner -nominees into the Rivers State Executive Council as follows:
Date: Thursday 26th, October, 2023
Time: 10am

The nominees are:
- Dr. Gift Worlu
- Engr. Austin Ben Chioma
- Prince Isaac Umejuru
- Mr. Joseph Johnson
- Mr. Victor Kii
Nominees are requested to come along with 40 sets of photocopies of their credentials and their originals.”
