Rivers Amnesty: State Govt adopts whistle blowing policy

As part of efforts aimed at eliminating cultism and related activities in Rivers State, the amnesty committee says it will adopt the whistle blowing policy of the Federal Government.

The Chairman of the Committee,  Kenneth Chinda made the disclosure,  while reading the resolution reached at the end of a stakeholders meeting with Gokana Chiefs, opinion and youth leaders.

He said the government will adopt the whistle blowing policy to ensure that all arms and dangerous weapons are retrieved.

Speaking further,  he declared the young shall grow vigilante group operating in Kpor community in Gokana Local Government Area, illegal.
