The Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Prof Mahmud Yakubu has disclosed the new date for the conclusion of suspended rerun elections in Rivers, Kano , Kogi and Imo states during a meeting with stakeholders in Abuja, on Thursday, June 30.
He said elections would now hold in Imo state on July 23, while elections for Rivers, Kano and Kogi states would hold on July 30.
Yakubu urged politicians and electorate in the affected states to cooperate with the commission to ensure a successful rerun election.
