A former Chairman of Independent Newspaper Publishers Association of Rivers State, RIVPA, and Publisher of Treasure Base newspaper, Prince Dimkpa Alikor, will today commit the remains of his mother Late Ma Dora Chituru Alikor (Ezinne), to earth.
The notice sighted by Africa Update shows that the interment will take place at her husband’s Compound, Alikor ‘s Compound, in Adanta- Isiokpo Community in Ikwerre Local Government Area, Rivers State.
Series of activities had earlier held to celebrate the Matriarch of the Alikor family, who died on December 21, 2022, aged 90 years.
Alikor and his siblings in company of well-wishers had on April 15th, visited the Priesthood Orphanage, off School Road, Elelenwo, in Obio / Akpor Local Government Area, to identify with the less privileged to kick-start funeral activities .
A Service of Songs, held yesterday at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, in Alimini Isiokpo, preceding the funeral service today. While a Thanksgiving Service is billed to hold tomorrow by 10am at St Patrick’s Catholic Church, Alimini- Isiokpo.
