Port Harcourt jail break: security operatives foil attempt

Security operatives has foiled an attempted jail break by gunmen on Port Harcourt Prisons, in Old Port Harcourt Township,  Rivers State on Tuesday, According to our source, the attack was meant to free inmates but was resisted by security operatives. Eyewitness account revealed that the gunmen had launched the attack from Bundu waterside, which is just behind the prison and there was heavy gunfire in the early hours of today. Security around the prisons  has been beefed up and several people were reported to have been injured.
