Police nab killer, kidnap squad

The Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of 5 suspects who allegedly belong to a kidnap and armed robbery gang . The press statement signed by the PPRO, DSP. Ahmad Muhammad disclosed that 4 suspects were arrested at oyigar community, Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, while the other suspect was arrested at Diobu, Port Harcourt.  The statement revealed that the gang had confessed to the strangulation,  killing and raping of their victims and also the murder of Pastor Chukwu Ekere for allegedly disturbing them with his preaching when he was kidnapped by the gang. The police spokesman hinted that a vehicle was also recovered during the operation.
