PHED high tension cable falls on building, roasts mother of two to death in Agip Estate

It was a dark Saturday afternoon, for residents of Road 24, Agip Estate in Rivers State, as a mother of two got roasted by fire after a high tension cable owned by the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) fell on a building.

Some residents who spoke with Africa Update said the victim was inside the building when the High Tension cable fell on the building, setting it ablaze. She was unfortunately burnt to death before help could reach her. The remains of the deceased has been taken to an undisclosed mortuary.
