The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on Thursday inaugurated the seven member National Caretaker Committee at the maiden meeting of the staff at the national secretariat Abuja.
A statement signed by head of publicity, Chinwe Nnorom, recalled that the committee was constituted in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on May 21, during the party’s national convention this year.
Portfolios were assigned to the seven-member National Caretaker Committee led by Ahmed Makarfi and Ben Obi as secretary.
Dayo Adeyeye is the new National Publicity Secretary, while Aisha Aliyu is in charge of Women and Youth.
Odion Ogbesia, Finance, Treasury and Audit and former senator, Abdul Ningi, would be in charge of Organisation and Mobilisation, while Kabir Usman, would oversee the legal unit.
