About Four commercial banks and a Telecommunications company were sealed today by the Rivers State Signage and Advertising Agency for non payment of signage fee.
The Managing Director of the Agency, Chukwudi Dimkpa said the action became necessary due to the huge loss recorded by the state government as a result of non compliance to signage fee.
He stated that over N1billion was lost annually due to non compliance, and warned that defaulters will be prosecuted in line with the provision of the law. Â Customers were stranded as a result of the closure.
