One of the forty one women arrested by operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS), of the Rivers State Police Command, has died in custody .
The woman (names withheld ) and over 50 others, were picked up about a week ago from Okujagu community by security operatives from SARS in respect to the disappearance of 5 policemen, who were on special duty to the community.
Africa Update gathered that following the death of the woman, Â the Chairman of Okirika Local Government Council , Hon. Edwin has been able to secure the release of the corpse as well as the other 40 women, who have reunited with their families while the corpse has been deposited at the Mortuary of the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.
