Ogoni women, took to the streets on Tuesday, at Zaakpon community, in Khana Local Government Area, of Rivers State, to demand the immediate release of Dr. Azoroh Bariledum, Manager of Prodest Hotel in Alode, Eleme, which was recently demolished by the State Government.
The protesters, who were topless, according to sources were enraged by the State Government’s disclosure that Azoroh has tested positive to Covid-19 in detention.
They vowed to match naked to Government House Port Harcourt, on Wednesday if the hotel manager was not released within 24 hours.
