Nsirim, Miller bag TSA’s best Commissioner award

The Commissioner for Information and Communications, Pastor Paulinus Nsirim, and his counterpart at the Ministry of Power, Hon. Damiete Herbert Miller, were voted the best Commissioner in Rivers State and bagged the award at the Trendsetters Awards over last weekend.

Nsirim, who has transformed the information sector to become more proactive and interactive, has also ensured that matters relating to the media and government, occupy the front burner, leading to a more vibrant and cordial relationship between the duo.

His appointment as Commissioner of Information and Communications, has led to a better public perception and acceptance of the Nyesom Wike led administration.

On his part, Miller’s appointment as the Commissioner of Power, has translated the power policies of the Nyesom Wike led Government into workable and realistic outcomes.

With better power generation and transmission, businesses in urban and rural communities have enjoyed the dividends of democracy, made possible by the dogged resolve of Miller to deliver on his task.

Voters were consistent in their choices and this produced for the first time in the history of the Trendsetters Awards, two individuals winning in the same category.
