Nigerian Association of Women Journalists(NAWOJ), said it is partnering with relevant agencies to ensure that issues affecting the girl child from reaching her potential are eradicated.
The Chairperson of NAWOJ in Rivers state, Lilian Okonkwo made this know at an awareness campaign put together to sensitise the public on the need to equal opportunity to every child, irrespective of gender.
She said the media will continue to highlight all discriminatory issues against the girl child.
