The Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike has announced that the state government would construct a 5-star hotel at the Port Harcourt Pleasure Park, soon.
Wike said that the state government was developing the Port Harcourt Pleasure Park into a comprehensive package for leisure and tourism.
He spoke during the opening of the ultra-modern Michael Garden Restaurant at the Port Harcourt Pleasure Park, last Friday.
The governor said: “We have concluded plans to construct a 5-star hotel inside the Port Harcourt Pleasure Park. Our objective is to ensure that residents and tourists enjoy modern entertainment facilities in the heart of the town.
“We have open different beautiful facilities at the Port Harcourt Pleasure. Today, we are opening a different aspect”.
He said that the Rivers State Government has developed the Port Harcourt Pleasure Park into an exciting entertainment location.
