Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike, has finally given an insight on what qualities his successor should posses. Speaking at a thanksgiving service today, at St. Paul’s Cathedral, diobu, Port Harcourt, to mark the victory at the Supreme Court in the Oil Well dispute between Rivers and Imo State, Wike said, his successor should be someone who will serve the State and take her to the next positive level of development.

Wike, noted that it is important for the Clergy to intercede on his behalf, for the right person to emerge as the next Governor of the State, because he is under enormous pressure and needs divine guidance.

He stressed that the leaders of the party have the uphill task of ensuring that the best candidate emerges before the May 23 date scheduled for the Governorship primaries.

Reiterating that this call has become necessary due to the fact that he is not leaving behind any debts but rather enormous assets and resources that should be channeled properly.
