If Bonny NLNG could bail NIGERIA out of recession in 2015, why can’t NIGERIA bail Bonny
from the clutches of Sea Pirates & Kidnappers.
I’m surprised that the recent sea pirate attack on three loaded speedboats along Bonny territorial waters on Thursday, 26th September 2019, including the menace of constant kidnappings and killings along Bonny waterways were not reported in any of the national dailies or TV stations, even when Bonny is a strategic stakeholder in Nigeria economic equation. This apparently indicates that our lives are worth nothing to the Nigerian state.
Permit me to use this medium to call on all well meaning Nigerians to support the struggle of Bonny people for survival and safety along our waterways.
Our declaration and stance against this show of shame by the Nigerian state is: IF THE LIVES OF BONNY PEOPLE IS NOT WORTH ANY THING AS CLEARLY DEMONSTRATED, IT MEANS THE INVESTMENT OF GOVERNMENT, INCLUDING NLNG TRAIN 7 WON’T BE WORTH ANY THING TO BONNY PEOPLE.
Painful as It is, NIMASA & NPA had also abandoned us.
We wish to enjoin all and sundry to Please join us as we take this historical march against this retrogressive silence, let’s make a loud statement in Nigeria again.
We are mobilizing a minimum of 5,000 signatures to support our petition to be presented before President Buhari, the Senate President and the Speaker, House of Representative.
Show your love for Bonny kingdom, take the right step for posterity an be counted.
Yours in the Struggle.
