Mannah clears Rivers APC Chairman Ojukaye Flag Amachree of alleged ‘malicious destruction’

Contrary to speculations alleging that the Rivers State APC Chairman, Ojukaye Flag Amachree, ordered the destruction of a property that belongs to the Senator representing Rivers South East Senatorial District, Magnus Abe, a lawmaker representing Ahoada East Constituency 1, at the Rivers State House of Assembly, Martins Mannah, says such tales are false and mischievous.

He asserted that APC in the state has only one recognised state executive led by Amachree, stressing that any other structure is illegal.

Mannah opined that anybody could have destroyed the structure, with the intention to frame Amachree and frowned at allegations from persons loyal to Abe, suggesting the contrary.

He further noted that every efforts by detractors to derail the activities of the party under the leadership of the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, will be resisted.

Recall that a source had notified Africa Update of plans within the Abe group to allegedly stir up the political atmosphere within the party as a decoy for possible negotiations, following the dwindling political fortunes of Abe and his supporters.
