The Executive governor of Rivers state Barr. Nyesom Wike, has expressed mixed feelings on the ability of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led federal government to conduct free , fair, and credible election come 2019.
The governor who made this allegation on Monday at the government house said that the antics of the government at the center shows that they are not ready to conduct a standard election that will be acceptable by all.
The governor asserted that the information at his disposal indicates that the APC in the state has perfected plans to cause mayhem on the election day , that will amount to the cancellation of the election, to pave way for conduct of fresh elections.
He alleged that he heard from a source whom he said decamped from PDP to APC that some security top officers in the state have been penciled down for promotion just to execute the 2019 election .
According to him these are the plots of APC in the state and at the federal to wrestle power from the PDP at all cost.
He further called on the international communities and the general public to take note as who is the enemy of the state and the country.
