Rivers citizens who are desirous of top quality education will soon have a major relief, as plans have been concluded tho open up frontiers for academic excellence.
The Director of University of Port Harcourt Business School, Prof Okechukwu Onuchukwwu, hinted that those interested in studying overseas can access the opportunity through an external collaboration with Liverpool University.
Speaking at his office, off Sani Abacha Road, GRA Phase 3, Rivers State, premises of the UNIPORT Business School, Onuchukwu, disclosed that discussions are at advanced stages with authorities at Liverpool University and the MOU would be signed very soon.
He said the collaboration is to enable those interested in the Executive Program to do so while studying online. Stating that talks were also ongoing with Oxford Business School.
Onuchukwu further disclosed that the UNIPORT Business School, has introduced new courses such as the Doctor of Business Administration, DBA, Executive MBA programs in Oil, Gas and Energy Management and MSc program in Public Finance and Corporate Law.
According to him, the Business School admits twice a year, in January and June and has high tech classrooms, fully equipped to handle the weekend programs.
