Until they leave this state alone, they will never know peace – Wike

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, at a special meeting with Bolo people at the Bolo civic Centre, in Ogu/ Bolo Local Government Area, says the Federal Government will continue to falter in governance unless an apology is rendered for its alleged evil plots against the state.

Speaking yesterday,  Wike said: “Anything you do against Rivers State will affect the entire Nigeria. When you see us cry, listen to Rivers State.

“Until they leave this state alone, they will never know peace. When they try to distract Rivers State, they will never be able to conceptualize projects.

“Until they come to apologise for plotting and executing evil against Rivers State, they will continue to falter.

“I challenge the APC to go to their states and talk about projects, when they cannot even pay salaries. Here we have paid salaries and pensions and we are consistently rolling out projects, even during Christmas .

The governor called on the Federal Government to ensure that it uses funds from the Excess Crude Account to address environmental problems in the Niger Delta, the way it is doing for insurgency.

Wike used the occasion to announce the approval of the construction of the Internal Roads of Bolo town and also  upgraded the stool of the Amayanabo of Bolo to a Second Class Status.
