Kano SSG, others sacked

The alleged cold war between the Kano state governor, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, and his former boss, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso took a dramatic turn over the weekend when Dr. Ganduje replaced some principal officers he inherited from the last administration.
The Head of civil service, Alhaji Auwalu Mohammed Naiya, had during a radio announcement on Saturday, revealed that the Director General media and communication to the governor, Alhaji Halilu Dantiye, was posted as Permanent Secretary and replaced with Salihu Tanko Yakasai as new DG media.
It was further revealed that the governor had also approved the removal of the Secretary to the State Government, Engineer Rabiu Sulaiman Bichi, who was replaced with Usman Alhaji Usman .
The appointment of Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Kankarofi as the new principal private Secretary to the governor, was also approved.
