APC membership: Jonathan, Wike’s attempt to kill Amaechi exposed by ally

Chief Eze Chukwuemeka Eze, a notable ally of Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi the Minster of Transportation has described as laughable and mischievous the funny report ascribed to the minster titled, “NO SERIOUS PARTY HAS APPROACHED ME YET.”

Chief Eze maintained that such spurious report could only have come from demented and devious mind that lacks something serious to do.
According to the evil and improbable concoction widely circulated and promoted in the social media, alleging that Amaechi had confessed to an imaginary Ibe who doesn’t exist anywhere, but referred to in the report as somebody within the circle of aides or associates of Amaechi. With whom he (Amaechi) had had the following conversation , “…I have bore all travails I am suffering in APC with all equanimity but there comes a time where I have to start weighing my options and that time is now. Ibeh, let me tell you, I don’t think I have the will to work for APC any longer. I cannot point to anything they have done better than PDP except bad governance. I have been rendered politically indolent…”
Is very untrue and targeted at creating a wrong impression about Amaechi.
Chief Eze, the erstwhile National Publicity Secretary of the defunct New PDP (nPDP) in a statement he personally signed and circulated to the media on August 20, further stated that the report is nothing but an attempt to cause friction between Amaechi and some bigwigs in APC particularly with President Muhammadu Buhari, Senator Bola Tinubu, Senator Godswin Akapabio and to ascribe to Senator Bukola Saraki credits for been behind and supportive of Amaechi’s confirmation as minster while the truth is that he (Saraki) never wanted Amaechi to be confirmed in the first place.
Eze stated that the public should ignore such a report as it emanates from people that are threatened by the high profile of Amaechi particularly the cordial relationship between him and Mr. President.
Eze accused Governor Nyesom Wike and Senator Magnus Abe as the brains behind such unwarranted attempt to tarnish the image of the Minster of Transportation as their past plots of sponsoring such malicious reports have always failed like pack of cards.
He recalled the level of risks Amaechi took in assisting other progressives to get APC to the level it is in Nigeria and world politics and he (Amaechi) has no regrets for the part he played in getting the party as a ruling party in Nigeria and will do all within his powers to ensure that the party is re-elected come 2019 no matter the odds.
Eze wondered how such a worthless statement could be ascribed to Amaechi knowing very well how he risked his life against the likes of former President Jonathan and Nyesom Wike who threatened to kill him on several occasions and in one of his outbursts, Wike stated according to the PUNCH of February 22, 2014 under the title, “FG’ll arrest Amaechi after Jonathan’s victory –Wike”, reported and is excerpted here: “Once the Independent National Electoral Commission announces the victory of President Jonathan, we will immediately shut down the Port Harcourt International Airport and all land and sea borders in Rivers State to prevent Governor Amaechi from escaping or does he (Amaechi) think we don’t know that he is planning to run away? But he and his cohorts will not succeed. All they can do thereafter is to lock themselves inside the Government House and at the appropriate time, we will go there and pick them up one after the other.”

He observed that the author of the article should educate him on how after all these efforts by Wike and his cohorts coupled with their failed attempts to stop Amaechi’s confirmation as Minster and several other failed attempts to cause friction between him and Mr. President , would he (Amaechi) contemplate or even regret assisting in installing APC as a ruling party in Nigeria?

Reiterating that Amaechi has two gigantic projects at hand; first to deliver on his core mandate as the Minster of Transportation – by transforming Nigeria’s transportation system to global heights through massive infrastructure development and secondly as the Director General of Buhari/Osinbajo Presidential Campaign Organisation to deliver President Muhammadu Buhari at the APC Presidential Primary, then, at the presidential election, he advised Wike and his misguided team to look for something tangible to do to improve on their fading political profile.

Eze stated further that no amount of falsehood and propaganda will cause Amaechi to leave APC, no matter the odds as Amaechi sacrificed his blood to assist in making APC whatever it is today and advised those behind propagating and promoting all manner of falsehood against Amaechi to look for something better to do.
