A winner has emerged in the Battle of the Comics talent show, which held on Saturday, March 21, at the Ibani Kitchens, inside the Museum premises at Old GRA, Rivers State.
The first edition of the talent show, had youths from various schools competing keenly for the star prize, which eventually went to Jack Desmond.
Joshua Timothy won second place, while Ndubbu Stephen took the third prize, Elijah Emmanuel and Aaron Tariere won fourth and fifth place respectively.
The Publisher of Springpoint magazine and Africa Update newspaper, Gloria Boma Harry, said the competition was organised by her media houses to enable youths discover the potentials and gains inherent in their talent.
While calling on individuals and organizations to pick interest in sponsoring such events, she expressed gratitude to Golden Tulip Hotels Port Harcourt, Ibani Kitchen, FCMB, E-Travels and several others for sponsoring the event.
