With heavy heart, the President of the Ijaw National Congress, INC, Prof. Benjamin Okaba, on behalf of the Ijaw nation and National Executive Council (NEC) of the foremost Ijaw sociocultural organisation wishes to express condolences to the Harry family, the people of Kalabari and the Ijaw people as a whole, on the death of their son Alatubo Charles Harry
Until his death he was the National Treasurer of Pan Niger Delta Forum (PANDEF), the founding Chairman of the Ijaw Republican Assembly (IRA) and the Chairman of Rivers Democratic Movement
Alatubo Charles was also the key driver behind the regular “Scion to Icons” Heroes of Ijawnation Merit Awards, a political and environmental activist
He led a good life and made enormous contributions to the development of ijaw nation using various platforms and was a believer of the Ijaw cause.
The Ijaw nation will sorely miss him. We pray to God to give the immediate family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss
He late Alatubo Charles is survived by his wife and.. children
