Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has made very important appointments to ensure the smooth implementation of the new tax regime in the State. This information was contained in a Government Special announcement signed by the Secretary to State Government, Dr. Tammy Wenike Danagogo.
According to the announcement, the Chairman and Commissioners of the Rivers State Body of Tax Appeal will be sworn-in on Friday, September 10.
The announcement reads: His Excellency, Barr. Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, CON. GSSRS. The Governor of Rivers State, has approved the appointment of the Chairman and Commissioners of the Rivers State Body of Tax Appeal.
They are:
- Hon. Justice Bennett Eke Ugbari (Rtd) – Chairman
- Mr. Edwin Krukrubo – Commissioner
- Mr. Owhonda Ihekwoaba Noble – Commissioner and
- Mrs. Gift Sovins – Commissioner.
The swearing-in of the Chairman and Commissioners will hold on Friday, September 10, 2021, at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt, by 11am.
Members are to be seated by 10:30 am.
