Governor Fubara extends Christmas gifts to Degema, other LGAs

Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has gifted bags of rice to Local Government Areas in the State, to celebrate the yuletide season.

This gesture was disclosed in a Public Announcement made by the Chairman of Degema Local Government Area,  Hon. Dr Agiriye Monina Harry,  requesting Ward leaders and Councillors to collect bags of rice meant for their various communities.

The Public Announcement signed by Gloria Boma Harry, the Chief Press Secretary to Degema LGA, on December 26th, stated that 1,700 bags of rice will be distributed to various Wards in the LGA on Friday,  December 27th.

The Executive Chairman of Degema Local Government Area, Hon. Dr. Agiriye Monima Harry, is pleased to announce the arrival of 1,700 bags of rice generously donated by His Excellency, Sir Siminialayi Fubara, Governor of Rivers State, for the Christmas celebration in Degema LGA.

Consequently, the underlisted leaders are requested to collect the rice from the designated distribution center as follows:

Time: 8:00 AM
Date: Friday, December 27th, 2024
Venue: Central Medical Store (Opposite the entrance to NPA), Industry Road, Port Harcourt.
Christmas Items per Ward:

Wards 1 to 16: 100 bags of 50kg rice each
Ward 17a: 50 bags of 50kg rice
Ward 17b: 50 bags of 50kg rice
