Rivers State Government is set to flag off the 2nd phase of the construction of Bori-Kono road, according to a statement signed by the Commissioner of Information and Communications, Paulinus Nsirim. The statement released to the media today, reads: Governor Nyesom Wike will flag off the construction of the Bori-Kono Road tomorrow as part of activities marking the second anniversary of his second tenure in office.
The first phase of this project, the 22 kilometre Saakpenwa-Bori dual carriage way was commissioned by the Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Lawrence Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi early this year. Tomorrow’s event scheduled for 11 a.m will feature the best in Ogoni culture and tradition. Please note that all COVID-19 protocols will be observed at the venue.
