Tragedy struck at the early hours of today, when a Toyota Camry (Big daddy) 2004 model, lost control at Garrison axis of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, in Rivers State, killing an unidentified person, who was waiting for a taxi.
The incident according to eyewitness account, occurred as a result of a hot pursuit by security operatives .
Africa update gathered that the police officers had allegedly chased the vehicle for undisclosed reasons but had abandoned the victims , when the accident occurred.
The victim was stuck under the vehicle, when the car busted into flames, instantly killing the other occupant in the car, while the diver was seriously burnt but taken to an undisclosed hospital.
The car and the two victims were burnt to ashes.Â
