The spokesman of the Ondo State Police Command , Mr Femi Joseph, has confirmed the death of four students of the Federal University of Technology, Akure, along Akure-Ilesha expressway in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State on Saturday.
He disclosed that the students were returning from Ibadan after attending a religious programme, stating that about 15 students were in the Hiace bus when the accident occurred. He further revealed that about 11 sustained injuries while the remains of the students have been deposited at the Ondo State Specialist Hospital,
The driver was said to have lost control, trying to avoid a motorcyclist who suddenly appeared on the motorway.
