Founder of ‘bring back our chibok girls’, Usman becomes NPA boss

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of the founder of ‘bring back our girls’ and former Chief of Staff to Kaduna State Government,  Ms. Hadiza Bala Usman as the Managing Director of Nigerian Ports Authority,( NPA).

A statement yesterday by the Director, Communication of the Federal Ministry of Transport, Mrs Yetunde Sonaike, also named three other appointments taking effect from July 11, 2016, as Mr. Mohammed Bello-Koko, Executive Director (Finance); Professor Idris Abubakar, Executive Director (Engineering) and Dr. Sokonte H. Davies, Executive Director (Marine Operations).

Usman started her career with Centre for Democratic Development and Research Training, Zaria, a Non-Governmental Organization in June 2000 as a Research Assistant, and also worked at the Bureau of Public Enterprises (BPE) from July 2000- August 2004 as an Enterprise Officer.
