Former Mayor of Port Harcourt City Local Government Area and Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, Hon. Azubuike Nmerukini is dead.
The widower reportedly died this morning after a brief illness.
Recall that the former Chairman, Rivers State Local Government Service Commission had lost his wife, Dr Mrs Dame Oroma Nmerukini, early last year and her interment had held in February.
